Chapter 1 Life Lesson #4 Exercise: Mastering LOA


I said HERE that I was going to do the exercises from the book  Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and, so, here is the exercise from Life Lesson Life Lesson #4 which is "The Power of Your State of Mind"

This exercise is to write on index cards 4-5 "I am" statements "to be repeated twice a day, just before going to sleep and getting out of bed each morning. Begin your affirmations with I am so happy and grateful that..."

The examples in my opinion were such good ones that I am using them. However, instead of putting them on index cards I wrote them in my phone's memo section. I always have the phone by the bed in the morning and at night because my alarm is on it so I thought I'd save a tree and put these statements there.  Here are the statements from the book:

"I am so happy and grateful that money is mine to receive, invest, grow and share."

"I am so happy and grateful that money flows to me easily and effortlessly."

"I am so happy and grateful that I am outrageously successful in everything I do."

"I am so happy and grateful that I embrace abundance and abundance embraces me."

the one I'm adding to this list is:
I am so happy and grateful that I live every day to the fullest and am truly happy inside and out.

Chapter 1 Life Lesson #3 Exercise: Mastering LOA


I said HERE that I was going to do the exercises from the book  Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and, so, here is the exercise from Life Lesson #3 is "Releasing the 'How' So the Dream Can Unfold"

This exercise is to list your dreams, goals and desires and then ask the what, when, where and who around them and release the how from my thoughts. So, I simply took my list of goals created HERE in a previous exercise and did just that! After that I was supposed to go back and add the why to each item so I did that too.

The exercise said to consciously take note of any negative thoughts that pop up with each goal and then to deliberately kick that negative thought out of my head! The end result is to look at what you DO want instead of what you don't.


1. What: Visit every continent
Who: me
When: ASAP
Where: Every continent
Why: I would like to see the world. I want to see all the beauty there is to see and then share the images I see and take with my camera with the world.

2. What: Run a marathon
Who: me
When: ASAP
Where: anywhere works for me
Why: to me being able to run a marathon means I'm healthy

3. What: Eat healthy foods that taste good
Who: me
When: daily
Where: at home, on the go, anywhere and everywhere
Why: I think if I eat healthy foods I'll feel better over all.

4. Have sex more often
Who: me and my husband
When: I wish it was a daily activity
Where: anywhere. I honestly prefer it anywhere but the bedroom
Why: I want to feel closer to my husband and fall deeper in love with him daily and I think a more active sex life would do that for us.

5. Be physically fit
Who: me
When: ASAP
Where: everywhere! From my head to my toes
Why: being healthy is one step closer to feeling better about myself and being sexier and feeling physically well

6. Drink more water
Who: me
When: daily
Where: at home, on the go, anywhere and everywhere
Why: to be healthier and cleanse myself of the toxins in my food, drink and life


7. Meet Oprah
Who: me
When: I would like to meet her by accident or on purpose and get the chance to actually talk to her
Where: it doesn't matter where because when it happens I know it will be awesome
Why: I just feel like she is a positive person and admire her for all she has accomplished. Plus, I think it would be so cool to share with folks I met her!

Where: the more places the better
Why: I would like to see the world. I want to see all the beauty there is to see and then share the images I see and take with my camera with the world.

Why: I waste too much time looking for things and if everything was organized it would be easier to find them and I would quit wasting time looking

Why: I need a spot where folks can see my work and enjoy it for years to come

23. be an extra in a movie

Where: in Tampa or Orlando
Why: I think it would be cool. I would love the attention and then being able to show off that I was in it.

24. stomp grapes at a vineyard

Where: any vineyard will do
Why: an opportunity to bring out my inner 5 year old!

25. go boating all day with just my husband
Who: me and my husband

When: the sooner the betterWhere: Tampa Bay, Miami, California, wherever there is water
Why: just to get away from everyone and explore with him would be fun

26. get a new car for me and my husband
Who: me and my husband

When: the sooner the betterWhere: doesn't matter. as long as we get transportation.
Why: we need a way to get from place to place and a new car would solve the problems we have with our current ones

27. pay off my parents' house
Who: me
When: ASAP
Where: there home in Tampa, FL
Why: to be able to take that burden off of their shoulders would truly make me feel like a million bucks. I would love to help remove that stress from their lives!

28. take more pictures of me and my husband
Who: me and my husband

When: the sooner the better and as often as possible until the end of our days here
Where: everywhere! especially while traveling
Why: it's so much fun to look through photos of us from the past and see where we have been and how far we have come and photos are my way of remembering things we have done together.

29. relax more often

Why: I stress way too much and need to get some calm in my life!

30. get weekly massages and pedicures and manicures

Why: finances cause so much tension in my life and I would like to focus on things that are more fun. Being able to say "I never worry about money" and actually mean it would be such a stress relief!

Why: my skin has always caused insecurities and I feel like if I have clear skin I will feel more confident.

Why: I waste too much time looking for things and if everything was organized it would be easier to find them and I would quit wasting time looking
38. have my blogs become some of the most highly viewed-some with a million views a month!

Why: because a whole lot of page views translates into a lot of money and a lot of money eases financial tensions!

Chapter 1 Life Lesson #2 Exercise: Mastering LOA


I said HERE that I was going to do the exercises from the book  Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and, so, here is the exercise from Life Lesson #2: What You Think and What You Feel Are Always a Match.

1. The first part of the exercise said to "Make a list of all the limiting beliefs and feelings you currently have around the desires you've identified. These are nothing more than habits of thinking you've had up to this point...thoughts you keep having over and over again."

The list of negative thoughts for part 1 of this exercise have been deleted/purged/done away with as part of item #3 in this exercise!

2. Part two of the exercise is to "take those limiting beliefs and thoughts and deliberately replace them with a list of thoughts that support who you are, who you want to be and what you want in your life. Go back to your Journal, and for each limiting belief you identified, list your new thoughts that support what you want."
+ New Thought- I make great decisions!
+ New Thought- I always think things through before trying them. I have a perfect plan ready to execute.
+ New Thought- I may not be the fastest, but I will always make it to the finish line. I always at least make an attempt!
+ New Thought- I can do it today! There is no reason to wait!
+ New Thought-I will succeed! All I have to do is start the project or work on the goal and I will succeed!!!
New Thought-All that truly matters is that I did my best. The opinions of others is irrelevant. Only I can make my path, only I can live my life. Only I can take the steps needed to be happy.
+ New Thought-Who cares? Others can't live my life for me. I have to make my own decisions and do what is right FOR ME!


3. Part three of this exercise is to release the list of limiting beliefs and thoughts by burning them, tearing them up, etc... For this part I've simply deleted the negative thoughts. That's why #1 has the sentence about part 3 in place of the list of negative thoughts :)
