A Thanksgiving Poem

The 3-minute Chakra Test

Image
The 3-minute Chakra Test  Try it yourself and check out your results. According to ancient Hindu science, there are 7 Chakras, or 'energy centers' in your body, starting at your tailbone and ending at the tip of your head. They act as your energetic ecosystem, and each of them influences a certain aspect of your life. For example Chakra 1 influences your career and finances, Chakra 2 influences your sexuality, Chakra 3 your self-esteem, and so on. Chakras can either be strong or weak, and their state determines your circumstances in the area of life that they influence. So for example if your Chakra responsible for your intuition is strong, you'll enjoy highly sharpened intuitive senses... But if it's weak, you may feel totally disconnected from your intuition. The question is, how are YOUR Chakras affecting your life? Which are weak, and which are strong? Just answer a few simple questions in this 3-minute Chakra Test, and you'll get your results instantly: The

Chapter 2 Life Lesson #3 Exercise: Mastering LOA

Image
I said that I was going to do the exercises from the book  Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and, so, here is the exercise from Chapter 2, Life Lesson Life Lesson #3 which is "Where You Currently Stand is Perfect": The exercise is to think about some negative things going on in my life right now and choose one to completely release from my mind. It suggests writing them down and then choosing one to release. I choose to release my financial situation. I choose to think of myself as wealthy right now instead of up to my eyeballs in debt!

Money Can't Buy Happiness

The other day I was droning on and on and on and on ( you get the idea) about how happy I would be once I finally get a million dollars. My husband looked at me and said, "You won't be happy even once you get a million dollars." At first, I was pissed. I felt insulted, hurt and annoyed that he believed that a million dollars would not make me happy because come on, it's a million dollars. Who wouldn't be happy with a million dollars. Then, I thought about it. As much as it sickens me, I think he is right. All too often I focus on happiness as something I'll have in the future. I used to say, once I lose 40 pounds I'll be happy. Then, I lost 40 pounds and you know what? I still wasn't happy. I used to say, once I am married I'll be happy. I've been married for 6 years and you know what? As much as I love my husband with every fiber of my being I'm still not happy. I used to say, once I get out of high school and away from all the p

I Want More Positivity in My Life

Too often it seems I am focusing on the bad things in my life. The bills I can't pay, the money I haven't made, the jobs I've not gotten, the tasks I've not yet completed. I'm sick of all that crap. I want more positivity in my life. There are so many awesome things that happen to me all the time and I think it's high time I focus on those things. This morning I woke up. That alone is huge. I woke up and was able to breathe, sit up, stand up and walk into my living room under a roof to shelter me from the outside and say good morning to my husband who I love and that loves me. I was able to get a diet fountain soda and cook breakfast with him. I spent my day goofing off on facebook and pinterest and then indulged in freshly baked cupcakes and a glorious 3 hour nap and then awoke to another fountain soda. Then, I got to make a delicious quesadilla, had more cupcakes, enjoyed a couple of cocktails, crafted for a while and then watched some movies. I'm so luc

Changing my major from education to mass communications 4. Traveling to the Caribbean 5. Getting fired for the first time 6. Starting Tampa Bay Freebies 7. Chapter 2 Life Lesson #1 Exercise: Mastering LOA

Image
I said HERE that I was going to do the exercises from the book  Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and, so, here is the exercise from Chapter 2, Life Lesson Life Lesson #1 which is "You're Never Stuck!": Is there an area of your life you're tired of? Yes! I'm tired of not being able to afford the things I want to do. My husband and I fight about money all the time because we are so in debt and struggling to make ends meet all the time. My ideal outcome for this issue is to pay off all of our debt and to get over my procrastination and laziness issues to make more money to set ourselves on the right track finally!

Chapter 1 Life Lesson #6 Exercise: Mastering LOA

Image
I said HERE that I was going to do the exercises from the book  Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and, so, here is the exercise from Life Lesson Life Lesson #6 which is "The Power of Intention, Not Attachment": 1. Identify a goal or dream in which you've run into an obstacle- Every dream has the same obstacle! My obstacle is simply that I'm lazy and lacking motivation to get things done. I'm way too good at procrastination. 2. Determine if your dream or goal needs to be chunked down further- the bottom line is that I need to stop procrastinating and being lazy! Questions 3-5 are irrelevant until I can get over my procrastination and laziness.

I Am The Famous Ashley Grant

Image
I've been calling myself The Famous Ashley Grant since February 2010. It began as a joke and then became my hook and my niche. Now I want it to BE TRUE. I want to BE The Famous Ashley Grant. What I mean by this is I want all of my blogs to have a shitload of page views, I want to make enough money through writing and photography to become financially stable, I want people to know who I am and get on the lists I want to be on, I want enough work to keep me busy and I want enough attention to stay happy.

Chapter 1 Life Lesson #4 Exercise: Mastering LOA

Image
I said HERE that I was going to do the exercises from the book  Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and, so, here is the exercise from Life Lesson Life Lesson #4 which is "The Power of Your State of Mind" This exercise is to write on index cards 4-5 "I am" statements "to be repeated twice a day, just before going to sleep and getting out of bed each morning. Begin your affirmations with I am so happy and grateful that..." The examples in my opinion were such good ones that I am using them. However, instead of putting them on index cards I wrote them in my phone's memo section. I always have the phone by the bed in the morning and at night because my alarm is on it so I thought I'd save a tree and put these statements there.  Here are the statements from the book: "I am so happy and grateful that money is mine to receive, invest, grow and share." "I am so happy and grateful that money flows to me easily and

Chapter 1 Life Lesson #3 Exercise: Mastering LOA

Image
I said HERE that I was going to do the exercises from the book  Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and, so, here is the exercise from Life Lesson #3 is "Releasing the 'How' So the Dream Can Unfold" This exercise is to list your dreams, goals and desires and then ask the what, when, where and who around them and release the how from my thoughts. So, I simply took my list of goals created HERE in a previous exercise and did just that! After that I was supposed to go back and add the why to each item so I did that too. The exercise said to consciously take note of any negative thoughts that pop up with each goal and then to deliberately kick that negative thought out of my head! The end result is to look at what you DO want instead of what you don't. 1. What: Visit every continent Who: me When: ASAP Where: Every continent Why: I would like to see the world. I want to see all the beauty there is to see and then share the images I see a

Chapter 1 Life Lesson #2 Exercise: Mastering LOA

Image
I said HERE that I was going to do the exercises from the book  Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction and, so, here is the exercise from Life Lesson #2: What You Think and What You Feel Are Always a Match. 1. The first part of the exercise said to "Make a list of all the limiting beliefs and feelings you currently have around the desires you've identified. These are nothing more than habits of thinking you've had up to this point...thoughts you keep having over and over again." The list of negative thoughts for part 1 of this exercise have been deleted/purged/done away with as part of item #3 in this exercise! 2. Part two of the exercise is to "take those limiting beliefs and thoughts and deliberately replace them with a list of thoughts that support who you are, who you want to be and what you want in your life. Go back to your Journal, and for each limiting belief you identified, list your new thoughts that support what you want."
