The Prosperity Game - Day 4

samsung video camera

I'm really enjoying the abundance of cash constantly coming to me. This new found wealth has been so wonderful. It's improving my life by leaps and bounds.

Today I have deposited $4,000 into my account at the Bank of the Universe. With today's money I will do the following:

Now that I have my tickets to Europe, my camera for the trip and my travel guides, I'm going to need some luggage and other fun stuff for the trip.

- The camera I'll get is like the one above. It's the Samsung HMX-F80 Flash Memory HD Digital Video Camcorder, Black  It's retail price is $200 so I'll have $3800 left

- I'll get an iPad as well. Specifically the Apple iPad 2 MC979LL/A Tablet (16GB, Wifi, White) 2nd Generation  This is about $420 via Amazon so I'll have $3380 left.

- I'll need two hiking backpacks such as the TETON Sports Explorer 4000 Internal Frame Backpack (Grey)  This will be about $130 so I'll have $3250 left

- I'll purchase a couples day at a spa so my husband and I can relax for a day. I imagine it will cost us about $1,000 so I'll have $2250 left

- I'll give $550 to my mom to help her with her bills and I'll have $1700 left

- With the last of the money I'll book a 5 day 4 night cruise for two to the Bahamas for me and my husband in April. It will cost about $1700 for a suite for the two of us.

Advice From Ivanka Trump

Ivanka Trump is featured in the February 2013 issue of Oprah Magazine. Her quote on the best advice really spoke to me "Love what you do. There's always going to be someone else who's smarter than you, but there's no substitution for passion. People who are passionate always work the hardest, and that sets them apart."

This is so true! You have to be passionate to be able to reach your goals and to keep doing the things you are doing. My passion is writing, blogging and taking pictures. I love these things so much that I do them almost every day and the more I do it, the more I fall in love with doing these activities even more!!!

The Five Moment Memoir

Wow! Just finished reading another article in the February issue of Oprah Magazine called "the Five-Moment Memoir". A woman named Sarah Beauchamp, a freelance writer in New York City writes five things that happened each day to decompress. She only writes the highlights and low-lights and limits the number to five to recount the day, ruminate and let her stress leak out onto the page making life feel more managable.

I LOVE this idea!!! Might have to try this myself :)

The Prosperity Game - Day 2

canon mark 2
Today with the $2,000 deposited into my account in the Bank of the Universe I will buy the Canon EOS 5D Mark II 21.1MP Full Frame CMOS Digital SLR Camera (Body Only). I'll get more lenses another day considering that I have plenty of money coming to me daily.

The camera will cost me about $1636 and I will give the $364 that is left over to my mother for her to do with whatever she chooses!

The camera will be perfect for taking pictures of my world travels that will begin this summer in Europe at the beginning of August!

The Prosperity Game - Day 1

Wicked Image

I've deposited my $1,000 into my First Bank of the Universe and I'm ready to go shopping!

I would buy the following:

$120 worth of gas for a weekend trip to and from Fort Lauderdale, Fla to catch another showing of Wicked this weekend! $880 left

$365 - tickets- I would buy 2 of the best seats in the house for Friday, February, 1, 2013 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts! $515 left (Read about my Vision Board Success of getting to see Wicked in Tampa)

$200 - I would get a fancy shmancy hotel room for the night $315 left

Wicked (2003 Original Broadway Cast)-soundtrack   $307 left

Wicked: From the Hit Broadway Musical - Hits You Can Sing Too!- karaoke CD  $285 left

The rest of the money would be used on food and beverages for a wonderful meal before the show, a delicious breakfast and then we would hit the road to be back on Saturday evening because I'm going to a Food & Wine Festival at MOSI!!!

The Prosperity Game

millions of dollars

I heard about the Abraham-Hicks Prosperity Game via a workbook I'm using and was immediately intrigued by the idea of it. From what I've read on miscellaneous websites the gist of the game is to deposit $1000 in an imaginary account on day one, $2000 on day 2 and keep increasing the amount all the way up to day $365,000 on the day 365. Each day you get to imagine yourself writing checks for the things you want.

The idea of the game is to get comfortable with the idea of receiving and spending money and get comfortable with abundance and a surplus of money always being available.

I think I'll start playing this game! Sounds like fun to me!! What would you buy if you knew money was constantly going to be coming to you every single day?

My abundance of money affirmations:
- I am a luxury magnet
- I  am a money magnet
- I am attracting abundance

I Am a Froot Loop

be a froot loop

I am a Froot Loop in a world full of Cheerios and I am so proud of that fact. When the world is full of beige, I'm glad that I can bring some color to it. I've often been told that I'm the life of the party and that I make everything more fun. I can only hope that this will always be true.

I would much rather be a unique and fun person than a hum drum boring gal that just fits in with the crowd. I do confess that I have often wished I was part of the crowd. Why? Fitting in often seems so much easier, but the truth is at the end of the day I'm happier being an outsider.

For the record, I think I'm the purple Fruit Loop. Why Purple? Well, according to Bourn Creative, "Purple combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. The color purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic."

I want to have a life of luxury, wealth, extravagance and independence. I am already creative and can be calm when needed but at the same time can be fierce with energy should that be what the situation calls for. I am a Purple Froot Loop and damn proud of it!

Words of Wisdom from Dale Carnegie

Here's a baker's dozen of words of wisdom from Dale Carnegie. Enjoy!

1. "Act enthusiastic and you will be enthusiastic."

3. “If we want to find happiness, let’s stop thinking about gratitude or ingratitude and give for the inner joy of giving.”

4. "You never achieve real success unless you like what you are doing."

5. "Try honestly to see things from the other person's point of view."

Vision Board Success- Wicked

Wicked Graphic

In the last few months of 2012 I began a HUGE vision board for things I want to see come to be in 2013. I say HUGE because it literally took over one of the walls in my dining room from ceiling almost to the floor.

One of the things I pasted on my board? A large print ad from the newspaper for the musical Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz because for the last three years I've wanted to watch it when it came through town on its tour to the Straz Center in Tampa, Fla.

I'm thrilled to report that just 10 days into the new year my first dream for 2013 has come to be! Last night on January, 10, 2013, I got to see the Wicked musical! I loved it so much that I confess I cried. I'm so excited that it happened. The best part? I got to watch it with my mom! We had an absolute blast!!!

Now, that I have seen one of my dreams come true I can not wait to see what else comes to me in 2013. I am anxious to see my pictures of travel, free flowing money, abundance, happiness, etc... go from images on a wall to dreams that come true!!!

Out of my shear excitement I'm reliving last night today listening to all the songs from the show. You can too if you want a copy of the songs grab them HERE!

Per Wikipedia, the Wicked musical "is based on the 1995 Gregory Maguire novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, a parallel novel of the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz and L. Frank Baum's classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."

Regina Brett

The column about life lessons by Regina Brett is making the rounds like crazy on facebook and other social media websites. Folks are saying she is 90, but the truth is she is 53. Onward to Chapter 2013

chapter 2013

“There comes a day when you realize turning the page is the best feeling in the world, because you realize there's so much more to the book than the page you were stuck on.”
― Zayn Malik
