Be Happier at Work

I found a cool list of 11 Ways to Be Happier at Work . My favorite thing on the list is to do the thing you dread the most first. I love my job as a blogger, freelance writer and photographer very much, but even I sometimes get lazy and don't want to work. There are aspects of every job that some folks dread and for me it's editing photos. It bores me to tears...The faster I get that task over with the faster I can get back to the things in my job I love to do. Check out the list of 11 Ways to Be Happier at Work yourself and tell me what you think. Do you have another way to be happy at work that isn't on this list? Leave it in the comments below...

I Want Clocks to Not Matter

Today I cost my family money because I over slept. Basically, at my husband's job if you are late to work the day after a holiday you lose your holiday pay. I hit the snooze button one too many times and boom- he was late and the money was gone all because I couldn't get up on time.... I want to have a life where clocks don't matter. I want my husband and I to have enough money flowing to us freely, quickly and easily that we can sleep when we need sleep, eat when we need food, work when we want to work, do other activities when we get board and on and on we go... I want to truly be a money magnet and use the law of attraction to set up a life of financial stability that doesn't rely on alarm clocks to boost my bank account. I want to have my work be as much fun as it is now and make my family enough money that my husband doesn't have to work in a job he doesn't like. He has always said he loves to work and wouldn't mind working until the job is don

The Prosperity Game - Day 121

We have been in Hawaii for a loooooooong time. I think now that the weather is getting warmer it's time to get back to our road trip. All the clothes, cars, miscellaneous goods we have used in Hawaii we will donate to charity and then we will hop a flight to Rhode Island to finish visiting all the states we were attempting to see. The last state we visited was Massachusetts so I think it's time for somewhere new. As of today I'm two weeks sober so I won't be adding any drinking to the tab going forward, but that doesn't mean the fun stops!!! The hard thing now is figuring out what to spend all this money on. My husband and I have to spend the entire amount that we receive each day in this game and we're learning how little we actually need to live out our dreams, feel prosperous and feel generous. The funniest thing is the more we are receiving the more we find ourselves just giving away the money. That's also very encouraging and exciting! Even a

Prosperity Game Days 82-120

Once again it has been a loooooooong time since I've added an update to the spending of the money we are receiving daily. Just like before we have spent $24,000 a day on savings bonds for retirement. As of today, my husband and I have $2,010,250 in Savings Bonds toward our retirement! With this we are done buying savings bonds because we feel that is the amount we wanted to save up prior to retirement and even at just 4% interest we will be earning more than $80,000 and have decided we can live off that :) We spent $2,000 a day on food, entertainment, lodging, etc... On days 82-100 we gave the rest of the money away to folks attempting to live their dreams on miscellaneous crowdfunding websites. One days 100-120 we bought real estate! Lots of it- condos and small homes to rent out for investment purposes. Want to know how to play the Prosperity Game yourself? Worry Less and Giggle More

I love this idea - Worry less and giggle more. What a brilliant way to live, don't you think? I believe I should start doing this today!!!! They say that laughter is the best medicine for what ails you and I prefer to be a laughing soul than a depressed one. Perhaps laughter is, dare I say, a secret to happiness. My challenge to you- if you find you are feeling low, find something to make you laugh as quickly as possible. Write down your worry and then throw it away believing that it will take care of itself or that some other power will make it work out. If you can change your worry do so, if not, let it go and find a way to laugh!
